Instead of vengeance, i choose victory

When i read a book, i like to take some lines that i think it's good for me to remember those words, just because those are good words and have a deep meaning.

I'm reading one of Paulo Coelho's books, Aleph, and now i'm in the chapter with the title " Believe even no one believes in you" .. i see the lines that i think, it will good to be shared. So, here are the lines :

"Instead of pain and resentment, I choose understanding and compassion. Instead of rebellion, i choose the music from my violin. Instead of the grief, I choose forgetting. Instead of vengeance, i choose victory. "

' I will be capable

of loving regardless of whether i am loved in return

of giving even when i have nothing

of working happily even in the midst of difficulties
